Counterfeits of ReFa CAXA RAY

In November 2018, MTG detected a counterfeit of our ReFa CAXA RAY with a very similarly shaped main unit to that of our product. With this counterfeit, in addition to its shape, the entire product including the packaging, instruction manual, and accessories, was reproduced with high precision. It was almost indistinguishable from our genuine product, and was therefore a malicious counterfeit product.

Our testing of the performance of the counterfeit proved that its specifications and quality were different from ours, for example, no microcurrent flowed, the rollers were not coated with platinum, and the counterfeit was not water-proof.

MTG fears that the use of such counterfeits can potentially cause health problems such as metal allergies and injuries to the user’s face.

MTG takes robust legal action including civil and criminal action against illicit dealers and manufactures who handle such counterfeits. Meanwhile, we recommend customers to purchase our products at our authorized stores as a proactive measure to prevent such problems.

In July 2014, MTG detected a counterfeit of our ReFa CARAT with a very similarly shaped main unit to that of our product. Guarantee Card

A lenticular printed guarantee card is included in the ReFa product box.
A hologram (the green part in the image below) is printed on the back of the two types of guarantee cards that accompany genuine products, and special technology is used so that the image flips when the card is tilted (from the ReFa logo to a diamond image).
